Notes:
URGENT: Delta is in immediate need of a
foster or adoptive home. She lost her foster
home to Hurricane Katrina and was evacuated
out of the area. She is now in a very temporary
holding spot in Shreveport, LA and is in
need of a foster or adoptive home ASAP.
Updated 8/30/05
Delta
is a beautiful 100 pound, 2 year old spayed
female Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees
cross. She did not work out as a livestock
guardian dog so her owner was going to shoot
her and "feed her to the buzzards".
Luckily, with a lot of help, we were able
to get her to safety.
Delta
is a sweet girl that loves attention. She
is good with other dogs but prefers to be
the "Queen Bee" of the household.
She is housebroken and good with children.
PLEASE
NOTE:
ALL ADOPTIONS REQUIRE SECURE FENCING
THIS
DOG IS NOT TRAINED AS A WORKING LIVESTOCK
GUARDIAN DOG. COMPANION HOMES ONLY PLEASE
NASRN may be able to provide transport assistance
within a 1,000 mile radius, please inquire
. They cannot transport dogs from east coast
to west coast.
