Litter of Anatolian Shepherd mixed pups – 4 male pups and 8 female. Their dad is believed to be an Anatolian Shepherd and mom is believed to be Kuvasz possibly mixed with Akbash, white Anatolian and/or Pyrenees.

Annie (female) ADOPTED

The pups were born on February, have been wormed and are current on shots. They will be large sized dogs. If you are not familiar with flock guardian dogs please take a little time to do some research at

Athena (fermale) ADOPTED

The pups were rescued by The National Anatolian Shepherd Rescue Network (NASRN) which is a nationwide volunteer rescue effort, but they do not maintain shelters, and rely on regional volunteers and organizations like DogsOnly to help them rescue animals.

Red (female)

As with all Anatolians, secure fencing is an absolute requirement! Please don’t be tempted to adopt on an impulse. Typical of the pup’s Anatolian Shepherd heritage, they could well live to be 15 years old, so you should take the time to carefully consider the long term commitment, expense, and passion it takes to give them the home they deserve. These pups might be cute now, but they will grow up to be very large, energetic, and powerful dogs. Bringing a very large dog like Anatolian Shepherd into your home will almost certainly involve a significant financial commitment, and will require some personal sacrifice on your part. For that reason we would prefer a family experienced with large breed dogs. You will be rewarded with unbounded love and devotion, but you must be committed and serious about your decision to bring an Anatolian into your life. Remember, this is an adoption, not a sale, and we’re very serious about making sure that both you and your dog are a good match for each other.

Herra (female)

The pups can be met in person at our weekly adoption showing at the West Little Rock Petco on Chenal Parkway across from Target and Home Depot. This is in the same strip mall as Old Navy and Shoe Carnival. Our showing hours are from 1-4 every Saturday except major holiday weekends.

We may not bring all of the pups every Saturday, so if there is one in particular that you would like to meet you must email BEFORE our showings to see if that pup is still available for adoption and can be brought to the adoption showing.

Max (male) ADOPTED

The pup’s adoption fee is set by and goes to the National Anatolian Rescue Network and helps to reimburse our expenses for all the necessary vet care that has provided to include: spay or neuter (mandatory - no exceptions, rabies, microchipping and registration, all vaccinations (including all puppy shots, rabies, adult boosters and Bordatella, grooming, Frontline for flea/tick preventative, heartworm check if age appropriate and monthly preventative for all ages while in foster care, collar and 50% of basic training classes. The adoption fee does not reimburse for all the expenses and covers only a portion of the cost of Zthe pup ’s rescue and rehabilitation expenses. Neither DogsOnly or NASRN receives any type of tax, government or corporate sponsorship. Please keep this in mind when you are adopting a fully vetted dog.

Nobel (female)

IMPORTANT - Please call Petco at 501 219 9907 on Saturday between 1:00 and 4:00 PM only or email BEFORE coming to visit the pups to make sure that they are still available for adoption.

Ruby (female) ADOPTED

Due to time restraints, we are not able to accept phone calls but we always try and answer all emails within 24 hours. All of our young and adult dogs are available for a 2 week home visit before finalizing the adoption process (local adoptions only). This is to help ensure it is a good match for all involved without making a final commitment. Puppies under the age of 6 months are not available to go on home visits. All of our rescues are in private homes and not available to be visited outside of showing times. All of our foster homes work with our rescues to ensure they are crate trained and most are also housetrained. None of our foster homes have cats, so we can only make our best guess as to how our rescues would do with cats. We rescue from high kill shelters and once accepted into our program, none of our rescues are euthanized. We provide for all their vet care, socialization and training until an appropriate home can be found. We rely solely on donations and are a 501(c)3 Humane Society.
