Chumley is a sweet little 4 year old full Pomeranian who doesn't get along with the new husband in his home. Chum is a very loyal dog that needs one and one time. He's independent and easy to get along with. He doesn't seek a lot of attention, just a few moments of the day is all he needs. When you first come home he is beyond excited to see you!
An ideal home would be a warm, laid back atmosphere. He is very loyal to his one companion, so preferably one master. He loves the outdoors and long walks. But also loves quality time to snuggle and be a lap dog at home. He's shy and timid, which can sometimes come off as skittish, but he easily warms up to you and is very loving. He loves to be massaged and petted, especially enjoys treats, walks, and loves his bed.
Chum always dances when his momma comes home. He dances clockwise, and then counter clockwise. Chum loves to play cat and mouse with you and to playfully be chased. He is up to date with all his vaccines; he's not due for them till end of the summer. He's neutered and just got his Bordatella a few months ago.
Chumley is an independent rescue supported by DogsOnly, so he will not be available to meet every Saturday except for holiday weekends at the DogsOnly adoption showing at Petco on Chenal Parkway across from Target and Home Depot.
You can contact Chumley’s owner directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or send an email to DogsOnly at email@example.com. You are also encouraged to submit an online adoption applicatio by clicking the orange colored links at the top or bottom of this page. Your adoption application will be forwarded to Chumley’s owner who will contact you directly.
All DogsOnly foster homes work with our rescues to ensure they are crate trained and most are also housetrained. None of the DogsOnly fosters have cats in their homes so we can only make our best guess as to how our rescues would do with cats. We rescue from high kill shelters and once accepted into our program, none of our rescues are euthanized. We provide for all their vet care, socialization and training until an appropriate home can be found.
DogsOnly relies solely on donations and is a 501(c)3 Humane Society. Our mission is to rescue dogs that most other groups are not interested in due to their size, breed, age, health or other various reasons, and to provide education resources for dog owners and those with an interest in the wellbeing of dogs. DogsOnly believes that no dog should be left behind.
