MoJo

MoJo is one of the most enthusiastic and friendly lovers of life you will ever meet. Despite having been brutally beaten as a puppy, MoJo remains friendly and happy.

Mojo was discovered lying motionless by the side of a busy road. His rescuer didn’t expected to find him alive, but as she approached, MoJo suddenly lifted his head, looked about in confusion, and staggered away in fear. After some kind and gentle words softly spoken, MoJo surrendered, and in no time at all was wagging his tail, licking, and cuddling as much as he could manage.

When MoJo first arrived at DogsOnly,he was in pitiful condition. He was starved, and weak. He seemed so fragile that one really believed that MoJo would make it through the night. Thankfully, MoJo’s spirit was strong, and with lots of attention, good food, fresh water, and gentle coaxing, MoJo proved that when the spirit is strong anything is possible.

MoJo

MoJo is doing well, but the beatings have taken their toll. He is a brain injury survivor, and although he has already shown remarkable improvement, he still seems to struggle with balance when he runs and plays. When he barks, his head rotates to one side so much that he almost falls over – but he gets right back up and barks again. moJo is claerly NOT A quitter! He is blind in one eye, and has to take a second look when he hears something, but he takes off running in play like nothing can stop him.

Despite everything has has been through, MoJo gets along very well with other dogs, and everyone he meets. His loves company and nothing seems to bother him. MoJo is a happy young dog who seems to be trying to make up for lost time with oodles of enthusiasm, love and tail wagging. He’s going to make someone a lifelong and rewarding companion.

MoJo

Best guess is that MoJo is a Rottie mix, probably less than a year old. He still has a ways to go to full recovery, and may never fully recover from his injuries. He has been to visit the vet, and received two thumbs up for general health. He will be receiving all shots, and will be neutered before he is adopted.
