Lacy is a cute young medium sized female Labrador Retriever Beagle mix, who was picked up as a stray and taken to a rural animal shelter that is not very forgiving when it comes to black lab mix canine companions. Rural animal shelters have few resources to keep strays for very long, and more often than not canine companions like Lacy would have put to sleep to make room for more strays after only a short time in the shelter. Fortunately, a local couple known to rescue animals in need of help, heard of his plight and took her to their foster home. Lacy is somewhat shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience, she will soon warm and learn to trust. She is very smart and loving, and likes to play, give kisses and especially enjoys being petted.
Lacy is independent rescue supported by DogsOnly, and so will not be attending the DogsOnly adoption showings at Petco in west Little Rock, but if you would like to learn more or even meet her you can send an email to her rescuers, Bob and Ursula, at email@example.com. You can also complete an online adoption application by clicking the links at the top or bottom of this page or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your application or emails will be sent to Lacy's guardians without delay.
If you don't find that special companion you are looking for in the DogsOnly rescue, rehabilitation, and re-home program then please Little Rock Animal Services or one of the many other central Arkansas rescue organizations to save a rescued canine companion.
